Prime Inc. hauls refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and intermodal freight across the United States and into Canada. When joining Prime Inc, you will be assigned a starting seat class based on your experience. You will follow the relevant process below based on your assigned seat class at time of hire.

Seat Class Breakdown

• A Seat - No training mileage required with a Prime Trainer.
• B Seat - Obtain a minimum of 15,000 training miles with a Prime Trainer to become eligible for upgrade.
• B2 Seat - Obtain a minimum of 30,000 training miles with a Prime Trainer to become eligible for upgrade.
• C Seat - Obtain a minimum of 40,000 training miles with a Prime Trainer to become eligible for upgrade.
• Once the minimum mileage goal is met, the trainee will become eligible for review for upgrade. Drivers will be selected for upgrade based on factors including safety, equipment availability, freight demand, service, and performance.
• B1, B2, & C Seats will earn a minimum of $900/week as long as you are available for dispatch until upgrade. If you are at home and available for dispatch, you will be paid $110/day.

Solo Company Driver Rates

• 50 cpm refrigerated in a full-size truck
• 55 cpm refrigerated in a lightweight truck
• 52 cpm flatbed
• 45 cpm tanker

Team Company Driver Rates

• 69 cpm split refrigerated
• 67 cpm split flatbed
• 60 cpm split tanker
• Earn additional 26 cpm split for miles between 3,000-3,999 per week
• Earn additional 31 cpm split for miles over 4,000 per week

Orientation

• Orientation Pay: $110/day for 3 days | A, B1, B2, & C Seats starting at Prime are eligible
• Attend orientation at Prime’s Orientation Facility in Springfield, MO; Pittston, PA; or Salt Lake City, UT.
• Prime provides 3 meals per day & hotel accommodations during orientation.
• Experience hands-on, computer based, & simulator training.
